Description of Service
ReadGazer is an AI-powered tool that helps you read and understand academic papers. You can upload PDFs, highlight passages, receive AI-generated explanations, and create shareable summaries.
User Accounts
You can use ReadGazer without creating an account. Anonymous usage creates a temporary account linked to your browser session. Anonymous accounts and their data are deleted after 7 days of inactivity.
Registered accounts provide persistent access to your documents and annotations. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
Acceptable Use
You agree to use ReadGazer only for lawful purposes. You must not:
- Upload content that infringes on intellectual property rights
- Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the service
- Use automated systems to access the service without permission
- Share your account credentials with others
Your Content
You retain all rights to the documents you upload. By uploading content, you grant ReadGazer a limited license to process it for the purpose of providing our services (AI explanations, summaries, and annotations).
AI-Generated Content
Explanations, summaries, and other AI-generated content are provided for informational purposes only. AI output may contain errors or inaccuracies. You are responsible for verifying any AI-generated content before relying on it.
Service Availability
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice.
Limitation of Liability
ReadGazer is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including reliance on AI-generated content.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms. You may delete your account at any time, which will remove all your data from our systems.
